Recently I was a spectator of what I would call the War of the Smuts, You had Guys and Girls airing each other’s Sexting Photos on blogs. Girls accusing guys of being smuts or whores on You a fuck boy Bitch boy Blog and guys doing the same on SMUTS R US blog (that has since been deleted). Now how both blogs work is that people email anonamously, revealing pictures of people they were sexually involved with and write-up details on the experience they had. Like a low-budget reality show but on the internet pretty entertaining, but at the same time damaging tho those who were exposed. After seeing this I had a few questions.
What makes a person a whore? male or female. This goes for all the other titles smut,slut,skeez, etc. It seems like an ongoing debate, to some a man is ok and expected to sleep around and conquer as many Vagina’s as possible he is considered a stud. While at the same time a woman who does this is labeled as a slut or a whore. My question is what are the rules? when is someone a whore or a smut, can this argument be so one-sided? Over the last decade I’ve noticed a huge increase in women being more vocal about sexuality and the thought of casual sex become more acceptable to the mainstream.
With shows like “Sex in the City” ,”Gossip Girl” or talk shows like “Tyra”(not that I have ever watched any of these, well except for Tyra she’s pretty bad ass), has helped to make this even a bigger “Hot Topic”. In my opinion here are the rules: If you are in a monogamous relationship male/female, and you go out and cheat then you are a liar and a cheat. Notice how I mentioned monogamous, nowadays people have polyamorous,open,flings etc so this may not apply to them as they have a different set of rules.
Now if you are a single male or female and knowingly engage in sexual acts with someone who is in a relationship then you are a whore,smut just basically a bad person because you are knowingly hurting someone else with no regard for your actions. Now lastly if you are single and do as you please sexually with whomever you want while being safe then you are Human, not a whore,skeez or any of those things. However notice I mentioned being safe because we do live in a crazy world riddled with disease. Not being safe would lead to spreading this kind of thing knowingly and carelessly making you a Smut, or a Boofer someone to watch out for.
Now I really would like to know what do you think, do you agree or disagree with my rules? what are your rules who is a Whore or a smut?
What if he or she lost their virginity to someone’s man or girl? Does that still make them a smut? The cheater makes the choice to sleep with someone other than their girl or man. If you’ve been cheated on that means your man or woman doesn’t value both of yallz relationship. Cheating isn’t love at all. Cheating is basically saying we were never really in a serious relationship. You catch my drift? So to me that’s not a smut. To me a smut is a dirty bitch or nigga with no morals that have sex with countless random folks they don’t know/do know. Fucking anything moving. Someone that never uses protection while doing so. Somebody that will do it anywhere at anytime of the day. Someone who willingly spread STD’s. The lowest of the lowest…What about the swapping of naked photos? If a person sent a nude photo to their boyfriend or girlfriend then they are not a smut. Why? They’re in a relationship where trust should be a main factor and he or she should keep it private. It makes them a smut if they send dick and pussy pics to everybody around the world. If your agreeing to send photos back and forth to someone, he or she doesn’t have the right to go sending it to everybody calling them a smut and posting it for the world to see. Smh

I agree with your statements for the most part but it is hard to argue that someone who has numerous one night stands whether using protection or not is not a whore. Regardless of gender it isn’t acceptable. It shows a lack of respect for yourself and anyone that you may come into contact with. You shouldn’t treat yourself or anyone else as simply a sexual object. So I guess what I am trying to say is that a whore is someone who doesn’t value relationships, not just romantic but also friendship, someone who views people simply as a way to relieve their sexual tension.
First thank you for reading NiquqNicole, About the showing lack of Respect for yourself or treating you as a sexual object. Me personally I am in a monogamous relationship and happy. But the truth is Monogamy is not for everyone this is something that has been taught to human civilization and imposed by Religion as the “NORM” everyone is expected to get married be with one Person for ever. But reality has proven again and again that this is not the case for everyone.
Some people are completely content with being single and not tied down to one person. In those cases many of those people feel pressure to get into a monogamous relationship and end up cheating and never being truly happy. Religion has taught us that this is WRONG so we place judgement on these people for doing what is in there nature.
My thing is live and let live, if you feel monogamy is not your thing that is fine. Relationships are not for everyone however Betrayal is something that I believe is wrong and unless you are honest and open with yours then you are purposely hurting people and that in my opinion is unacceptable.
I don’t and would never argue that everyone should be in a monogamous relationship. Everyone has different needs and expectations. Religion has for centuries been used to repress sexuality. It is a way to control the distribution of wealth and to preserve lineage. Monogamy in that sense is not truly practical. Peoples needs and feelings change. Honesty about your sexuality is important. Letting your partner/s know what you are doing keeps them safe and gives them the choice to continue. Too many people lie or consider it none of their partners business.
