So Where do I start….  Egypt where  a revolution before our eyes is in fact being televised. The young people have finally  had enough of the old people running crap. Fixing elections, they are silent no more.

Egypt and Revolution

This is a beautiful thing, young people standing up for what they believe in, a generation that has only known one leader. This is a true display of the Power of Unity.  On the other hand  our Mainstream media covers it with such disdain with headlines such as “CHAOS” , “Violent Overthrow” simply framing it as crazy thugs without a cause.(I mean we have been allies of Mubarak for his entire time in office.

For the most part these protesters have been peaceful, only a small percentage started to loot, riot, throw rocks etc, some were later caught rocking Mubarak’s Private Police Id’s . Reports clearly show this is how most of this violence started but as long as we get the big picture that’s all that matters.

America Historically has loved Dictators, we were very friendly with Saddam before he messed with our money, I would go on to name a few but I think I’ll just post up a short list of Dictators that were pretty friendly with the U.S.A.

So this just goes to show ya, We fucks with dictators. haha sorry just had to drop that in.

Now take a minute think about this,…. Go a head google them look them up read on each one learn the stories, learn the struggles of our PEOPLE. the Human People the Human race. Only then can we begin to understand and learn from the past so that we can move forward in the future.

Tucson Shooting

The Gabrielle Giffords shooting in Tucson was horrible, I mean the political rhetoric in the USA had this comedic ring to it. Some foreigners even  joke on our politics as being  comical or even a circus act. But it is no laughing matter that we live in a place where a mentally ill person can purchase a hand gun with a 30 round extended clip .

Gun Control

As a result Nineteen people were shot, six of them fatally, with one other person injured at the scene. Why the hell would anyone need to  have a handgun that can shoot 30 friggin rounds? really? 30 Rounds? We had a ban on automatic weapons and assault rifles , from like 94′ to 2004.

This was like for Oozies, M16s, EXTENDED 30 Round CLIPS, etc. Now I understand we have the right to bear arms. But why the hell would you need an Oozie, or an M16? Unless you’re going to kill People? You can’t Hunt deer with that, well you can if you’re a douche.

The reason this ban has not been renewed is because the NRA donates a shit ton of money to our politicians to vote against that. They love money. the USA is the most Armed Nation in the world with most gun deaths, and this will not change unless we change.

…. Well, that’s it for my Comeback post, but I will definitely try to blog a little more often and get some crap off my chest. Crazy twitter makes it easy to share quick thoughts and links and it becomes a little hard to squeeze in some time to let them all out at once.

So that’s the Yap for today.

When is it expected that Gabrielle Giffords will be charged with the crimes she did in instigating the event she did without having adequate security when she was inundated with documented threats beforehand and she caused so many injuries and deaths to so many people?

  2. maximosis says:

I’m sorry Michelle, I am confused as to what you are asking for? An Apology for instigating the event? I failed to mention Sarah Palin cross hairs, Glenn Beck Shot in the head, Rush Limbaugh blatant Racism, all in an effect to not point fingers. Now you choose to place blame on the victim? I am confused,if anything months before the incident Gabrielle actually mentioned that the rhetoric was getting dangerous and their would be consequences. Unfortunately it is her and her family as well many other families who are dealing with these consequences.

Please don’t ignore the matter at hand to try to throw in the rightly lefty bullshit that we get on Fox News and MSNBC. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone, I am just presenting the problem as well as possible factors that may have contributed to it.. how dare you ask someone who just got shot in the head to apologize for being shot in the head?

And the common denominator is…money. But that’s not surprising. We back leaders who are good for our best financial interests, even if they’re in the worst interest of their own people. It usually comes back to bite us in the ass, though. How many times have we had people coming after us with our own equipment?

As for the gun issue, it’s definitely the gun lobby that runs the show; superceding common sense. A right to bear arms doesn’t signify a right to any particular arms. If you can’t hit an animal without an automatic weapon, perhaps hunting is not for you. Try knitting…those sharp needles can impart the sense of danger you’re obviously searching for…
